In Single Buoy Mooring (SBM) or Single Point Mooring (SPM), a floating buoy/jetty anchored offshore functions as a nexus between shore-facilities and tankers for loading or off-loading liquid and gas cargo. An SBM is vital for transportation of liquid cargo.
